I am one half of the creative team behind Chasing Ever After Photography. This blog is all about our photo sessions so you'll get to see what sessions are available, some behind the scenes, and more about what all goes on before, during, and after a session.

I'm a camera-wielding mom capturing our everyday magic...

Some of y'all might know me from working in the Accounting department at Farm Bureau in Columbia, but in 2019 I left to pursue my photography dream and to stay home with my son. I've always been a creative type person so photography was the perfect outlet. My son and I have lots of fun together creating the themed photos and the lifestyle portraits that I captured during his younger years are some of my most cherished.

Just as I was in the process of going from hobbyist to professional, 2020 happened. During that crazy year I decided to put my small business on hold. I ended up focusing on learning more Photoshop and that's when I discovered my love of editing! My son and I came up with some really fun photoshoots that year including superheroes, dinosaurs, celestial, Disney inspired, storybook inspired, and so much more! After sharing my work online, I started to get a lot of interest in what I was creating and finally in 2021 is when I started branching out to offering sessions to others.

To say I have a blast with what I do now is an understatement. I love every second I'm out there photographing and I hope it shows through in my work. I love to read so a lot of my work is inspired by fairytales and the fantasy genre I love so much. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so any time I can capture a little magic is fine with me!

When I'm not chasing kiddos around with a camera you can find me spending time with my family, playing Final Fantasy XIV or World of Warcraft, my nose in a book, strolling through Hobby Lobby, or writing Star Trek fanfiction.
